Plugola, Inc. was founded by, Erik Peterson (President) of Chicago, IL, USA; and are the creators of PLUGO.LA, the online social music community and digital marketplace for independent musicians and music fans.
Our company began on a very simple idea; to give independent artists a similar platform to Itunes. Of course, in the summer of 2007 there were only a couple of services for this, if any, available to independent musicians doing it all on their own. A lot has changed since our inception. We have expanded on our original concept to give musicians ways to actually promote themselves, and music fans more of a reason to participate and return.
Plugola has evolved quite a bit since then, along with both the music industry and Internet technology. Our goal is to give musicians an audience like they’ve never had before, and music fans some of the best in the newest music, by some of the most talented artists.
