Showcase for Plugola Artists

Since the day musicians began to join PLUGOLA I have received many messages asking to be a ‘Featured Artist’. When we were developing the community, we decided it be best that ‘Featured Artists’ be chosen by real fans. In other words, all artists/tracks on PLUGOLA are ranked based on fan activity, except for the ‘New Artists’ category, of course. We mulled over the option to charge an extra fee for the ‘Featured’ listings, but we wanted to give true results to music fans as well as, ALL artists a chance to be heard. However, the artists asking to be ‘Featured’ made me think; how could we give a little boost to some of PLUGOLA’s stronger artists? So we came up with a new artist showcase blog.
ArtistRevue was just launched and it will be updated with interviews and streaming music/videos from some of PLUGOLA’s stronger artists. Any and all visitors can listen, rate and review the showcased artists without the hassle of signing-up with another site. All music and/or videos will be hand-chosen by the artist along with easy, direct access to downloads and other online destinations where the artist(s) can be found and heard.
For music fans, it will be a great place to learn about up-and-coming indie artists and hear some great, new music. For musicians, it will give them the opportunity to be heard by fresh ears and show potential fans where to find more of their music. Be sure to let us know what you think.

Looks great! I can’t believe that domain was available… Excited to check it out and see what these artists have going on.

Thanks, Refe! Actually, I was pretty surprised the domain was available, too. I even had to check the spelling a few times…lol
Anyway, yes, we have quite a few really good artists and I don’t want them to go unnoticed. Hopefully this will be a good way to bring some of them to the surface. Thanks for taking a look!
